The 5th Saudi eHealth Conference
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince and the Honorary President of the Saudi Association for Health Informatics (SAHI), SAHI in collaboration with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) will host the 5th Saudi eHealth Conference, the largest of its kind in the Middle East. The conference will be held on the 18th of November 2014, and will last for three days, at KSAU-HS Convention Center - Riyadh.
On this occasion, H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of KSAU-HS Dr. Bandar Al Knawy extended his gratitude to HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz for sponsoring this conference since its first edition. He added: “this sponsorship contributes immensely to the success of this conference, stressing that it embodies the county’s support for civil society institutions and activates their role in the society”.
Moreover, H.E. Dr. Bandar expressed his honor and delight following the huge success witnessed on previous eHealth Conferences on addressing key eHealth topics to decision makers and studying their related case files. He also highlighted the higher management’s keenness in supporting the conference’s proposals and recommendations such as the Royal Decree approval of establishing and launching King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Arabic Health Encyclopedia (KAAHE), proposed by the Saudi Association for Health Informatics in KSAU-HS and launched by His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the opening ceremony of the 4th Saudi eHealth Conference in 2012.
