The 2nd Intensive Family Medicine Review Course activities were launched  with the presence  of Dr. Fadel Kamal, the Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services - Primary Health Care, MNGHA, WR. The activities lasted for 5 days and hosted in the convention Center - King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Jeddah.

Dr. Kholoud Al Sayari,  a Family Medicine Consultant and the Chairman of the Scientific Committee delivered a speech in which she pointed out that the most important goal of the Organizing Committee is to develop the diagnostic clinical skills through several  workshops and lectures prepared by specialized consultants from various medical fields, adding that the conference targeted primary health care physicians in addition to fellowship doctors in family medicine.

Dr. Mansour Al Qurashi, Associate Dean of postgraduate Studies in King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences - Jeddah pointed out that  primary health care section is the most active  in organizing academic and scientific activities, adding that the family medicine training program was honored  for adhering to the quality (Can MED Standards)  for the year 2014, as well as receiving the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties accreditation as an  independent program under the umbrella of MNGHA.

It is worth mentioning that this activity was accredited with 30 CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
