MNG-HA Launched Sanad Educational Program in King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital
The Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs have recently launched Inaugurated Sanad Educational Program in King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital (KASCH), with the presence of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and SABIC Chairman, and Her Royal Highness Princess Adila bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of Sanad Children's Cancer Support Society.
His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan and Her Royal Highness Princess Adila bint Abdullah were received by H.E. Dr. Saad Al Mehrij, Chief Medical Officer of MNG-HA, who delivered a welcome speech during the inauguration ceremony in which he pointed out that this educational program is an achievement that aims to upgrade the healthcare levels provided to our beloved children, while stressing his delight towards such initiatives to further achieve our leaderships vision in providing optimal integrated healthcare services.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Mehrij highlighted that this program was established to help inpatient children with cancer to continue their education during their stay in the hospital to align with their colleagues in educational achievement; which is considered a humanitarian gesture from Sanad Children's Cancer Support Society and their strategic partner SABIC, for their outstanding social responsibility initiative and charitable community services.
Additionally, Dr. Al-Mehrij extended his appreciation towards the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, the Deputy Crown Prince and to His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard for his continuous support and directives to further upgrade the healthcare services in order to achieve the patients optimal satisfaction, in addition to the MNG-HA’s leadership, who have joined their efforts towards one goal, that the Ministry of National Guard and all its sectors will be a national role model in all fields. He also extended his appreciation towards H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, for his continued support and vigorous follow-ups for the MNG-HA and KSAU-HS projects and programs.
During the ceremony, an introductory film about Sanad Children's Cancer Support Society was presented, followed by a presentation highlighting Sanad’s educational program. After that, Her Royal Highness Princess Adila bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presented His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud with a gift; a painting painted by Sanad Society’s children, as a gratitude gesture.
Last but not least, His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud and Her Royal Highness Princess Adila bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited Sanad’s educational program classes and the children inpatient wards in King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospita.
