King Fahad Residential City Celebrates World Hand Hygiene Day 2018

he Department of Health Education at the Primary HealthCare Center in King Fahad Residential City - Eastern Region celebrated the World Hand Hygiene Day 2018, which was held for two consecutive days. Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj, the Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region pointed out that: “This event is a part of a series of programs that aim on raising the community awareness levels on hand hygiene and healthy living".
The event targeted students in primary schools in King Fahad Residential City, and an exhibition was held to explain how to properly wash the hands in to prevent the transmission of germs and infectious viruses from one person to another; in addition to explaining the places where viruses and bacteria accumulate in home, school, or public places.
