​1st International Lymphoma ConferenceExecutive Director of Medical Services - National Guard Health Affairs - the Western Region Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Zahrani, launched on Saturday, 21st of April 2018, the 1st International Lymphoma Conferenceunder the title "Updates and research on lymphomas in the biological – diagnostic - therapeutic field ", the conference was organized by King Abdulaziz Medical City- Jeddah and represented by Princess Noorah Oncology Center (PNOC).

Conference chairman and President of the Saudi Lymphoma Group Lymphoma, Dr. Mubarak Al Mansoor delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the conference will be covering the latest data, developments and studies by highly respected internationally and nationally renowned speakers and moderators, covering topics such as Pathology & Molecular, Hodgkin Lymphoma, DLBCL, Indolent Lymphoma, and T-Cell Lymphoma.


​1st International Lymphoma ConferenceAdditionally, Dr. Al Mansoor said that lymphoma is one of the most common cancerous tumors and ranked second among the annual cases registered; and increasing continuously, and this conference is one of the initiatives that will help in achieving the desired objectives in combating cancer and therefore, be a scientific platform to share and bring state-of-the-art insights and profound understanding for the advancement of lymphoma.

Last but not least, the conference covered all medical views and topics related to lymphomas Assessing its relevance and impact in Saudi Arabia where the total number of reported lymphoma cancer incidence cases in 2014 is increasing.

This conference was organized with collaboration of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), Saudi Oncology Society, and Saudi Lymphoma Group.
