A team of Orthopedic Surgeons led by Dr. Mohammad Aldekheel from KAMC-JED achieved completing knee joint replacement using robotics-assisted system platform provided by NAVIO Surgical System from Smith & Nephew for the first time in Middle East and North Africa. Dr. Aldakheel Section Head, Orthopedic Surgery stated that such systems are designed to overcome the challenges of knee surgeries.
