Enterprise Clinical and Business Intelligence (ECBI) System
What Is ECBI II?
The Enterprise Clinical Business Intelligence (ECBI) II system, developed by ISID - Data and Business Intelligence Management (DBIM), automates the 1st Edition of MNG-HA’s Book of Measures that was launched by H.E. Dr. Bandar Al Knawy on 04 November 2015. ECBI II is also in-line with the key objective of transforming MNG-HA into a Data Driven Organization (DDO), an organization that monitors work processes, identify improvement opportunities and makes decisions based on valid and reliable data.
ECBI II dashboards provide a variety of analytical components, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analytical graphs and scorecards. Reflecting the MNG-HA’s BOM Manual, the analytical components fall into the following measure categories: Hospital Census, Medical and Clinical, Infection Prevention and Control Program, Administrative Affairs, Pharmacy, as well as Facility Management and Safety.
In addition, the ECBI II Dashboards project aims to assist in the following various quality improvement activities within MNG-HA; which includes: improving patient care, enhancing safety and satisfaction, reducing medical errors and increasing efficiency.
