​Prince Miteb bin Abdullah Visits PMBAH in Al Madinah


His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of National Guard, visited Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Al Madinah on Wednesday, 1st of July 2015. His Royal Highness was received by Dr. Mansour Al Othman Executive Director of Operations, and Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director of Medical Services, PMBAH, Al Madinah, as well as a number of employees of the administrative and medical staff. Furthermore, a meeting was conducted with HRH and the Directors of the hospital to discuss PMBAH’s significant achievements,, future needs, and ways to improve the medical services in the hospital.

Dr. Al Othman and on behalf of the MNG-HA staff expressed his appreciation for the support given by HRH prince Mitebb. In addition, Dr. Al Othman stated that, Prince Miteb's support and continues mentoring have been the main factors of founding this hospital to become one of the top hospitals in the area providing medical services of a high quality as a part of Ministry National Guard’s  provided medical services. 


Moreover, Dr. Al Yafi, presented the most prominent medical services that have been conducted since the foundation of the hospital in October 2013. He also mentioned the number of employees in medical departments, number of available beds, total medical services that have been conducted in outpatient clinics and emergency clinics, as well as the number of conducted operations in various sections and disciplines. In addition, he mentioned the number of patients who have been treated so far, as well as the number of patients who have been transferred to other hospitals along with the hospital's future needs so PMBAH can achieve the highest standards in providing optimal Medical care and services.

The Minister of National Guard in a  meeting with the administrative and medical employees pointed out the importance of their responsibilities and the future aspirations sought by both specialists and citizens. He also stated that this excellence requires a lot of effort and monitoring to be maintained in order to improve the medical services.

At the end of his visit, HRH visited the Departments of Surgery, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic, and Pediatric. Lastly, he visited some patients in their rooms as he listened to their specific cases and he wished them a fast recovery.
