PMBAH Trains National Guards Medical Divisions


In an effort to provide best health care services to our qualified soldiers during the performance of their duties in guarding the homeland, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Medina represented by Emergency Medicine Department organized a special training program prepared in collaboration with the Medical Education Office in PMBAH which under King Saud University for Health Sciences. The training program aims to raise the skills level of Medical Divisions’ staff in King Faisal brigade for Special Security at the National Guard Ministry, where the program covers a range of important medical topics which include medical emergency services’ systems, safety precautions for the first paramedic and an introduction to anatomy, anthropology and respiratory as well as a brief on legal and ethical cases in emergency services and communication skills.

The training program, which was entitled " The First Paramedic" is the first program of this kind held in Medina Region, the importance of this program lies in the quality and the level of the health care that the Staff of King Faisal brigade for Special Security will be able to provide once they complete the program. The trainees will receive certificates with 30 CME Hours accredit by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).  


On the other hand, during the inauguration of the training program, Executive Director of Medical Services, PMBAH Dr. Walid Al Yafi welcomed the attendees, and the commander of King Faisal brigade for Special Security at National Guard Maj. Gen. Faihan Al Otaibi complemented all the services provided by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Medina describing them as an outstanding efforts in health care services and medical education for National Guard staff in Al Madinah.

The ceremony, which was held at the Auditorium in PMBAH, has witnessed the presence of many PMBAH’s officials and National Guard’s military officers, led by Executive Director of Operations, PMBAH Dr. Mansour Al Othman and Deputy Executive Director of Operations, PMBAH Mr. Mansour Al Askar.

Further, the Chairman of Emergency Medicine Department, PMBAH Dr. Abdulhadi Tashkandi mentioned that the program will last for four days and more than forty five trainees will benefit from it, in addition, Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services Dr. Tariq Khashoggi explained that this program is part of an integrated partnership agreement combines PMBAH in Medina and King Faisal brigade for Special Security at National Guard which will include a wide range of academic, medical services and special health care services where PMBAH seeks and works hard to achieve them in the coming period in accordance to the highest international standards.​
