Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Madinah Participates

Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital of the Ministry of National Guard's Health Affairs in Madinah joined the “The Future of Pharmacy in Light of the Vision" forum which was held by the College of Pharmacy at the Conference Hall in Taibah University on Thursday 18\10\1443 – 19\05\2022 under the patronage of H. E. Dr. Abdulaziz Alsarani, President of Taibah University. Where Pharmaceutical Care Services, Allied Health Training Management and Recruitment services departments participated at the exhibition with an educational booth that serves all visitors of the forum, including graduates and students of pharmacists and any other medical specialties, in addition to others interested in working in healthcare sector and some specialized visitors.

The forum aims to educate students and graduates of the College of Pharmacy about the career paths and qualify them to compete in the labor market by establishing continuous partnership between the university and employers concerning the employment and training fields in order to introduce the available job opportunities for college graduates, which are announced by the various sectors, as well as to familiarize graduates with labor market changes and latest goals, in addition to providing the graduates with opportunities to meet with employers and conduct initial interviews for those wishing to be hired.

The Executive Director of Operations at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital in Madinah, Mr. Mansour Bin Nasser Al Askar, explained that the participation of the Hospital in “The Future of Pharmacy in Light of the Vision" forum is an attempt to contribute to raising awareness of the future of pharmacy professions and pharmaceutical industrie's localization in general and to provide every support to educate and pursuit our pioneers in pharmaceutical care.

For his part, the Director of Pharmaceutical Care Services at PMBAH Dr. Sahal Ishaq Khoshhal asserted that the contribution to this forum is part of our responsibilities toward the students and graduates of pharmacy colleges by introducing the various professional paths and reviewing the latest technologies and international standards for safety & quality which are adhered to by the pharmaceutical care department at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital.

The Director of Human Resources Department at PMBAH, Mr. Salah Al Harbi, further explained that the Recruitment Services team seeks to familiarize the students with the possible professional opportunities at the hospital, and to pursuit the distinguished fresh graduates and expected to graduate students. In addition to an overview of the benefits of working at PMBAH and explaining the recruitment process and addressing all inquiries.

While Ms. Noha Al Qurashi, Manager of Allied Health Training Management, PMBAH; indicated that their participation comes to introduce both of our Internship Training Program for pharmacy graduates and to share the details on how to apply for it, and the Saudi Career Development Program, which is intended to hire fresh graduates of health professions for a year of training in order to better qualify them for permanent contracts and to address all related inquiries.

At the end of “The Future of Pharmacy in Light of the Vision" forum's activities, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital was recognized and thanked among other participants in the event.
