The Home Health Care Program at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah organized the Saudi Home Care Day event under the slogan (Your comfort matters to us).
A medical exhibition with many educational stations and corners was held, highlighting the role of home health care services. The Home Health Care team provides a complete explanation, including wound care, home respiratory care, pathology care, chronic diseases, palliative care and pain management, clinical nutrition and health education, and medical care preventive.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Kabsh, Head of the Home Health Care Department in the Western Region, said that the aim of participating in this event is to introduce the services provided by the department and how to apply and register according to the approved standards and mechanism. And to highlight the role of home care in providing health services to patients in their homes with high quality.
Dr. Al-Kabsh explained that since the establishment of the department, the number of home services teams had reached twelve teams, and the total number of beneficiaries of services is 7402 patients. In addition, the number of visits since 2020 has reached 21,647 visits.
At the end of his speech, Dr. Al-Kabsh expressed his appreciation to the leadership in the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs for their support and their provision of capabilities to benefit patients.
