​“Two Lives on the Line: Critical Care in Pregnancy" Lecture



Under the auspice of H.E. The Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, the visiting Professor Dr. Scott Alexander Harvey from the University of California, USA, gave a lecture entitled “Two Lives of the Line: Critical Care in Pregnancy"

Dr. Harvey reviewed the latest therapeutic protocols for dealing with cases. Critical conditions during pregnancy and after birth, including severe bleeding, high blood pressure, blood poisoning, amniotic fluid infection, and cases of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Dr. Harvey and his fellow visiting professors from the United States of America were briefed on the treatment programs at the Women's Health Hospital and praised the high level of efficiency in dealing with these cases. This event comes as part of an integrated program aimed at ensuring the health of women and the fetus, which was held at the Women's Health Hospital.

In an effort to achieve development programs to improve the efficiency of medical services provided by the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, the lecture was broadcast to all Health Affairs hospitals in various regions.​
