King Abdulaziz Medical City Riyadh became the world's first to earn a quadruple Stage 7 rating by HIMSS. It is also the first hospital in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to achieve a revalidation at Stage 7 on the HIMSS EMRAM under its new, modernized standards.
With an emphasis on patient outcomes as the main metric of success, EMRAM revalidation adopts an outcomes-driven healthcare model. It involves looking for areas for enhancement using data and analytics, then acting to improve patient outcomes. Moreover, by providing a range of care options, patient engagement in healthcare refers to programs that involve patients in quality improvement activities thus utilizing a variety of digital tools to improve access to care and ensuring inclusivity for a range of patient needs.
It is worth noting that MNGHA achieved Stage 7 on INFRAstructure Adoption Model (INFRAM), Outpatient Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (O-EMRAM), and Adoption Model of Analytics Maturity (AMAM).
This EMRAM validation enhances KAMC-RD strong record in utilizing information and technology to improve patient care which reflects the MNGHA's commitment to move forward in applying digital health best practices to improve patients' experience and provide innovative healthcare services.
