Nurse Managers are specialists in coordinating the care provided to patients. Work can range from being in charge of a ward in a private or public hospital to running a unit or group of units in a community or rural health facility.

Nurse Managers have a range of responsibilities including recruiting staff, organizing rosters, ensuring a safe workplace, training, financial management, counseling, internal communication and equipment monitoring and maintenance.

As a Nurse Manager, there are many opportunities to further develop a managerial career pathway and move into exciting high-level managerial positions.
