Food Services Contracts Operations is a part of the Support Services Division, which is responsible for the total management and operation of Food. As one of the departments aiding to contribute success to the organization, Food Services Contracts Operations, in the teamwork of its professional, hardworking employees, guarantee to extend competent services.

The department monitors and follows up on all Contractor’s activities, ensuring that required duties are performed efficiently and following the terms and conditions stipulated in the Prime Contract as approved by the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA).

Mission of Food Services

To ensure that the patients and staff provided with proper and nutritional foods and related food services in accordance with the contractual obligations by the Food Services Contractor.


Vision of Food Services

Food Service is a healthcare provider that aspires to excellence in food service by providing the highest quality and safe food service level for patient care.

We visualize being the number one healthcare provider to all eligible citizens, in particular, the National Guard and their dependents, in the field of food service that provides a service trolley that is computerized, temperature programmable, with a built-in audible and visual system, serve and operate at forced air convection principle thus eliminates the hazards associated with condensation, with feature to serve both hot and cold food simultaneously and most importantly to maintain the ready to eat foods within the acceptable temperature limits for the safe and quality service to patients also utilizing the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point ( HACCP ).


Objectives

  • Providing high quality of food services to the hospital patients and cafeteria patrons.

  • To maintain zero report of food contamination and to eliminate all expected hazard in the department services by enhancing HACCP Program and increase the quality program of assurance monitoring.
