The Neuroradiology Division comprises Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology sections.
The Neuroradiology Division provides a complete package of advanced neuroimaging techniques to manage patients with central nervous system disease.
This unique division provides 24/7 coverage for acute neuro interventional emergencies and diagnostic support for neuro emergencies with a dedicated neuroradiologists team.
The section actively participates in research, academic activities, and multidisciplinary meetings besides overwhelming clinical work.
The unit comprises a highly qualified group of consultants, associates, and assistants from different training schools, making it a highly rated center for residency and fellowship programs.
Neuroradiology Division Operation Capacity
About 56,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures annually are provided by the Neuroradiology Section ranging from plain radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and neurointerventional procedures.
Neuroradiology Division Scope of Services
The diagnostic Neuroradiology section provides diagnostic imaging support for the Neurosciences, ENT, orthopedics, and oncology departments for brain, spine, and neck diseases. The interventional Neuroradiology section performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for the vascular and non-vascular diseases of the brain and spine.
Neuroradiology Division Clinical Programs
- Radiology-Oncology Accelerated Track Program - This program is dedicated to help patients with newly diagnosed/suspected malignancy to access quality care with the intent to reduce delays in management. The Medical Imaging Department would have special arrangement to do imaging studies in an urgent and organized way.
