ACC Clinic 304 (Orthopedics)

The clinic is concerned with the conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Surgeons use surgical and nonsurgical aims to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders, with procedures such as casting and wound dressing and injections. The clinic consists of 16 rooms and caters to 1000 patients per week.​


Scope of Service

Unit Name: ACC clinic 304.



Unit Description: Orthopedic / Foot Care / Cast Room.

Patient Population: Adult (Mixed Gender).

Hours of Operation:

08:00 – 17:00 Hours (Sundays to Thursday) 5 days per week; Extend clinic 3 days/week (08:00-20:00) Sundays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

No of Beds:

1 Screening Room, 2 Nurse Clinics, 8 Exams Rooms, Ortho casting Room (4 Beds).

Occupancy Rate:

600 - 700 patients per week.

Staff Categories:

Registered Nurse, Ortho Technician, Patient Care Technician, Unit Assistant, Runner.

Primary Diagnosis:

Orthopedic Post-Operative Follow-up, Trauma Patients, Foot Care (Pre-Post-Operative), Foot & Ankle Deformity, Joint Replacement.

Primary Procedures:

Wound Dressing, Removal of sutures, clips, Casting Splinting, Depo Medrol Injection, Diclofenac Injection, Debridement of wound, Removal of K Wires, Removal of Halo traction and external fixator.

Model of Nursing Care:

Total Patient Care Utilizing a Partnership Model.
