A 24 Hour round-the-clock full Service to an emergency call.
Emergency Operation: including but not limited to;
Fire Suppression
Rescue
Road Traffic Accidents
Chemical Spills and Leaks
Onsite Command and Control of Internal & External Disaster
Emergency support to other departments using specialized equipment.
Non-Emergency Operation: Use of Fire Department personnel and equipment to support and assist other departments.
Safety, Fire Prevention and Training: including but not limited to;
Fire Safety Inspection, test and maintenance of all portable fire extinguishers, fire suppression, alarm and detection system.
Provide general safety inspection, monitoring guidance in all areas, including work areas and construction activities.
Fire Safety education orientation (Fire In-Services and Fire Drills for all employees and General Orientation for New Hired Employees).
Monthly General Orientation for new hired employees.
Fire drills for patient care units & non- patient care units.
Evacuation drills conducted for all patient care units & non- patient care units.
Annual Fire & Life Safety In-service Training is mandatory to all employees of NGHA.
FPSD employees attending seminar and training courses in and outside the Kingdom.
On the Job Training for all operational staff on all emergency operations, safety and fire prevention.
Liaison with other departments in regard to new projects or alterations, which may affect fire/life safety.
Observe all commissioning tests related to Fire Alarm System.
