Mission and Vision
Mission
To upgrade quality of services rendered to protect the program facilities and its occupants against the effects of fire and other related emergencies. This mission evolves around the following criteria:
FIRE PREVENTION: To ensure that all Fire Alarm Systems, Suppression Systems and other related equipment and devices are in operational condition, and shall operate accordingly in the event of a fire related emergency. Program policy on Fire Safety, adapted standard and requirements are regularly inspected and enforced.
TRAINING: To ensure that all Fire Department personnel are trained in accordance with the most current fire fighting; rescue and other related emergency response techniques. Facilitate training programs for all employees, ensuring that all staffs are aware of Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures.
OPERATIONS: To ensure that all personnel are in full readiness to respond to any fire emergency, rescue, release or spill of hazardous materials and other related emergencies, and that personnel attending to emergencies are fully equipped and well protected in accordance with safety standards. All emergency equipments are fully operational and ready to be dispatched at any time.
Vision
To provide high standards of fire protection, and in the event of a fire emergency, ensuring that the protection of patients, visitors and staff are of paramount priority- while limiting, as far as possible, the effects of any incident, and to return the affected facility to normal operation as quickly as possible, consistent with safety. This includes empowering and training all employees, providing quality safety and training materials, specialized equipment and fire fighting techniques, derived from the standard requirements based on the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association Standard), Accrediting Organization (JCIA) and National Guard Health Affairs Policy and Procedures - in order to deliver an optimum level of fire protection services and other collaborative responsibility to all sectors of departments and its occupancy.
