Primary Health Care Center
The Primary Health Care Center is the first level of contact for individuals with the health system. The following are the main objectives of Primary Health Care:
Health promotion and disease prevention.

Assessment and diagnosis of common symptoms and physical signs.
Management of common acute and chronic medical conditions.
Identification and appropriate referral for other needed health services.
Provision of comprehensive maternal and child healthcare.
Child immunization against major communicable disease.
Medical examination for all new male and female students (Pre-school, Primary, Intermediate, and Secondary) and all new recruits (soldiers) in the Eastern Region.
Control of endemic diseases, safe water supply and environmental health.
Provision of essential drugs.
Provision of Dental, Mental, and Geriatric Health.
Staff
