  • The department made, designed, and printed many new pamphlets to teach patients about different genetic disorders.
  • Rare Diseases Awareness Day was held by the department every year. There were games for the kids to play, pamphlets to spread awareness, and one-on-one conversations between parents, genetics doctors, and nutritionists to answer any parents' questions about genetic diseases.
