Behavior management: Time-out and reward systems can help a child with ADHD learn appropriate behaviors for the classroom and home.
Social skills training: These techniques help the child learn to be less aggressive and impulsive, manage anger, and behave in a more socially acceptable way.
Family therapy: The whole family can benefit from this type of therapy implementing learning methods to deal effectively with ADHD behavior.

When properly treated, children and adolescents can lead very normal and productive lives. Children need a loving, supportive and consistent environment. It is essential for the positive growth and development of all children and especially those with attention deficit disorder.
Staying and eating healthy
Make sure the child gets proper attention, enough sleep, and gets a healthy diet with plenty of fiber and basic nutrients.
Prevention
While there is no proven way to prevent ADHD itself, early identification and treatment can prevent many of the problems associated with ADHD.
