The 5th Communicable Diseases Educators Course
The Infection Prevention & Control Department is lunching the (the 5th Communicable Diseases Educators Course) in KAMC-WR , Accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties by 30 CME, The educational course will lasts for two weeks starting from Sunday 02/02/2020 to Thursday 13/02/2020. The course aims to build capacity in the area of health education on communicable diseases, to emphasize the basic concepts on the epidemiology of these diseases, the Effective methods of education to enhance health knowledge of prevention and control of infectious diseases and to emphasis on cases of endemic epidemiological association in the region. The course targets all health workers related to preventive medicine, infection control and health education about communicable diseases.

Objectives:
Understand how microorganisms spread and cause infection.
Identify the common communicable diseases of special concern in Saudi Arabia.
Identify and apply the appropriate infection prevention and control measures.
Provide effective health education.
Design and conduct health education campaigns for prevention & control of communicable diseases.
Properly utilize media resources for patient and community education.
Perform descriptive data analysis using SPSS software.
Problem-based interactive workshops included.
