Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - JDH

​King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah and Life Support Training Centre - Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs is pleased to announce the 2020 schedule of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Course BackgroundBackground

  • ACLS courses are designed to enhance the healthcare professional’s ability to diagnose and treat cardiopulmonary arrest, acute arrythmia, stroke, and Acute Coronary Syndrome, working as a team, and managing the patient in the immediate post-resuscitation phase.
  • The course will provide the participants with the most up-to-date information and protocols for Acute Cardiac Care and Advanced Life Support in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the American Heart Association (AHA).

Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the concepts and principles of airway management.
  •  Recognize and appropriately manage non-lethal arrhythmias and lethal cardiac dysrhythmias and cardiac arrest.
  • Recognize and initiate early management of stroke & acute coronary syndrome.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, and using appropriate team dynamics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in providing BLS care
