​King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah and Life Support Training Centre - Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs is pleased to announce the 2020 schedule of Disaster Management and Emergency Preparedness (DMEP)

Objectives

• Understand the surgical problems and injury patterns, that may result from disasters
• Become familiar with the incident command
• Understand disaster triage
• Become familiar with treatment principles, related to blast injury, chemical attacks and radiological dispersal devices.
  Know the civilian and military assets available for support.

• SR 1000 Physicians/ Interns
• SR 600 Nurses/ Paeamedics/ Others

Target Audience
The intended audience includes acute care providers (surgeons, anesthesiologists, emergency medicine physicians, ER, OR, ICU, Trauma nurses, House officer and prehospital professionals). Other health care providers, administrators,  public health personnel and emergency managers are also encouraged to attend.

CME Hours

• 8.25 CME Hours by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), under the American College of Surgeons in US.
• This activity is accredited with 10 CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
