Division of Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a dentistry specialty which deals with diagnosis, prevention, and correction of mal-positioned teeth and jaws, and misaligned bite patterns. It may also address the modification of facial growth in growing patients.

The specialists in this division provides treatment to about 600 patients per week, having one or more of the following problems:


  • Dental malocclusion ”crowding, spacing, rotation, proclination, rertroclination, Cl II malocclusion and Cl III malocclusion”

  • Skeletal malocclusion “ Maxillary prognathia / retrognathia, Mandibular prognathia / retrognathia and facial asymmetry”.

  • Craniofacial anomalies “ cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial syndromes”.

  • Growing patients with skeletal problems “ provide phase I treatment of growth modification”.

  • Sleep apnea.

  • Orofacial pain.
