Division of Restorative Dentistry

Restorative Dentistry: is the branch of dentistry that deals with diagnosis and integrated management of diseases of the teeth and their supporting structures and the rehabilitation of the dentition to functional and aesthetic requirements of the individual. The dentists who were trained under this dental specialty could be classified into either Restorative Dentists or Advanced Restorative Dentists:


  • Restorative Dentist: A specialist that is able to plan and provide both routine and complex restorative dental care for a wide variety of patients by applying advanced knowledge and clinical skills


  • Advanced Restorative Dentist (ARD): A specialist that acquired competence and confidence in executing the various restorative clinical disciplines (operative dentistry, endodontic, fixed prosthodontics and rehabilitation of dental implants) that are integral components of restorative dentistry.


The division has the capacity to treat about 300 patients per week. On call services and spot consultations are provided also to different specialties.
