Ward 25
Ward 25 is a 20- bed designated as a Chronic Ventilation unit that provides care to adult patients with a variety of general medical needs and mechanical ventilated dependent patients. We provide care to patients aged 14 and older with various illnesses and comorbidities.
Patient Population: Adult; Mixed Gender
Hours of Operation: 24 Hours / 7 Days per week
Number of Bed: 22 Beds
Occupancy Rate: 100%

Primary Diagnosis
- General Medicine, Diabetes Mellitus, Patients with Multi-organ system failure – Geriatrics, CVA, DVT, Chronic Mechanical Ventilated Patients.
- Congestive Heart Failure.
- Pneumonia.
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
- Sickle Cell Anemia.
- Patients requiring prolonged mechanical ventilation.
- Stroke.
- Hypoxic encephalopathy.
- ARDS.
- COPD.

- Tracheostomy Care.
- Suctioning.
- I.V. Infusions including Cannulation.
- Oxygen Therapy.
- Chest Tube Management.
- Nasogastric and PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Care.
- Urinary Catheterization.
- Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
- Pleural Tapping.
- Insertion of CVP Lines, Administration of Blood and Blood Products.
- Chronic Mechanical Ventilation.
