Academic Activities

Departmental

  • Morning Report: It is conducted daily at 8 AM in the Medicine Lecture Room at 2nd floor, Oncology Building, Department of Medicine.

  • Cardiology morning report: twice monthly held at the Medicine Conference Room at 2nd floor, Oncology Building, Department Medicine.

  • Residents Journal Club: twice monthly where one of the residents presents a featured article. (Part of academic half day activity).

  • Academic Half Day: Every Monday at 12:30 till 3:00 in the Medicine Lecture Room.

  • Annual In-Training Written Examination for Residents (all levels) held at the Medicine Conference Room.

  • Grand round every Wednesday at 1:00 PM: This activity is a form of a Grand Round and attendance is mandatory for all the Department Staff. Held at the Small Auditorium.

  • Two annual OSCE examinations before promotion to next level of residency.

  • Research teaching/classes for junior residents (every 2nd Sunday of the month) at the Department of Medicine Lecture room in preparation for their research projects.

  • Bedside Clinical Teaching for all residents level

    • R1 – 4 sessions every month

    • R2 - 2 session every month

    • R3 – Every Tuesday

    • R4 – every Sunday and Tuesday
