2015
- Involvement in develop and preparation for Best Care for (Rehabilitation module)
- Establish and implement Pediatric Rehabilitation Screening clinic.
- Establish weekend service for Pediatric in-patients.
- Establish and implement new Pediatric Rehabilitation programs e.g.:
- Early Intervention program
- Oncology program
- Burn and hand program
- Musculoskeletal program
- Rheumatology program
- Commence back care education program for KASCH nursing staff.
2016
- Launching of most up to date high technology equipment's (Locomat, Documentation based care (DBC))
- Expanding a specialized rehabilitation amputation clinic
2017:
- Launching of the group therapy for
adult and pediatric patients.
- Participate in Bone Health Program; Multidisciplinary team with Neonatal Intensive Care Department
2018:
- Collaboration between Rehabilitation services and other medical departments in:
- Pediatric Residency Program Training; Rehabilitation Services with Child Development and Behavior Services
- Feeding Program; Occupational therapy with Pediatric Gastroenterology Clinic
- Pediatric Obesity program; Physical Therapy and Pediatric Endocrinology clinic
- TMJ Program; Physical Therapy and Dental Clinic
- Rehabilitation services participated in pediatric fall risk committee
- Participate in (N95 train the trainers program) and hand hygiene champion with infection prevention and control department by certified therapists as trainers.
2019:

- Autism program; Occupational therapy with pediatric mental health department
- Fellowship Rehabilitation training program; Rehabilitation services with Rheumatology Department
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Best-care task force; collaboration with Quality and Patient Safety Department, Best Care team and knowledge Management Department for implement Rehabilitation KPIs dashboard
- Launching of "Packaging system" project; for Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapy. Classifying patient packages of Follow-up appointments intensity (frequencies and duration)
- Rehabilitation Services Participation in Rowaad program:
- Pediatric Physical Therapy Project (Developmental Hip Dysplasia (DDH))
- Pediatric Rehabilitation Project (Accessibility to the Pediatrics' Rehabilitation services within a time frame of case category)
- Pediatric Rehabilitation Project (Packaging System for follow up patients)
- Lunching Rehabilitation portal system; collaboration with the Department of Information and Informatics Systems to establish and improve the patient portal system for electronic appointments booking in Rehabilitation services
- Participate in RISE (peer support) program organized by Quality and Patient Safety Department.
2020:
- Successful gradual de-escalation plan post Covid-19 for Outpatient clinics
- Launching Virtual clinics (Tele-Rehabilitation sessions) during COVID-19 pandemic
- Launching Evening Clinic during Covid-19 pandemic
- Launching of online Back Care and Safe Lifting Program (training and exam) for healthcare
providers among MNGHA
- Rehabilitation services participate in KASCH newsletter.

- Complex Disease (chronic patients) Care; Rehabilitation services collaboration with Pediatrics Multidisciplinary team
- Home Health Care (HHC) Services and Pediatric Occupational Therapy
- Rehabilitation Department started new Quality Improvement Project;

2021
- Ongoing Virtual clinics (Tele-Rehabilitation sessions) for high risk compromised cases; to be minimized not exceeding 10% of the service.
- Ongoing collaboration with Best Care Team for enhancing Rehabilitation module and patient portal
- Ongoing collaboration with Corporate Planning and Regulatory Affairs for implement new pediatric documentation form and outcome measure form
- Ongoing collaboration with Data and Business Intelligence Management (DBIM) department for Dashboard and KPI's
- Initiate Task Force at Cooperate Level to all Rehabilitation Services Department among all MNGHA Hospitals. Three Task Force were developed:
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Clinical Guidelines and Standard of Practice
- Early Mobility in ICU
- Collaboration between Rehabilitation services and other medical departments in:
- Spinal Muscular Dystrophy; Rehabilitation services with Pediatric Neurology Department
- Orthotic and Prosthetic onsite training; Rehabilitation services provide training in Orthotic and Prosthetic for two residents from Physical Medicine Department
Awards:
- National Patient Safety Award (2018); Pediatric Rehabilitation team (Physical and Occupational therapists) among the NICU staff was recognized by His Excellency Dr. Bandar AI-Knawy for the Neonatal Bone Health Program.
- National recognition of back care program (2019): Back care program Certificate of appreciation from MNGHA for all staff participating in back care program.
- National recognition of ALJANADRIY AH activity
- National recognition during the" First World Patient Safety Day" event from quality and patient's safety department to all staff volunteered as peer responder in RISE team (2019).
- Recognition received from the Spina Bifida Clinic due to the Rehabilitation role for Spina Bifida patients on their 20th Anniversary.
- Recognition received from the Neonatal Department due to the Rehabilitation role in Neonatal services during the Prematurity Awareness Day on 17 November 2019.
- Screening Clinic Project awarded as outstanding achievement in KASCH 4th Annual Excellence and Innovation in Healthcare Event under the presence of His excellency Dr. Bandar AlKenawy.
- Recognition of three pediatric staff (two Physical Therapists and one Occupational Therapists) by His excellency Dr. Bandar AlKenawy in a Special event (recognition day).
- Screening Clinic Project awarded as
outstanding achievement in KASCH 4th Annual Excellence and Innovation in Healthcare Event

Pediatric rehabilitation staff received an appreciation certificate for their outstanding contribution and efforts in the establishment of heart transplantation program and performing the first successful Pediatric case on April 10 – 2021 at ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs.
