A 24/7 unit dedicated to providing Medical and Nursing services to adult VIPs and Royal patients caters to Royal visitors, high-ranking National Guard Officers, and other eligible very important people (VIPs) and their dependents.​


Services include:

  • Internal Medicine and Geriatric and Pulmonology.
  • General Surgery.
  • Thoracic surgery.
  • Ophthalmology Surgery.
  • Urology Surgery.
  • Vascular Surgery.
  • Podiatry Surgery.
  • Plastic surgery.
  • ENT Surgery.
  • Oromaxilofacial injuries/Anomalies.
  • Neurosurgery.
  • Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Spine Surgery.
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Communicable disease.
  • Short stay(Day case only for investigations and minor procedures.

Adult, Mixed Gender

Royal Visitor, High Ranking

National Guard Officers,

Other eligible and their dependents

Hours of Operation: 24 hours/ 7days per week

Ward 16C - 11 Beds

Ward 17 Royal - x3 suites

Ward 3311x1 royal suite

Ward 3416x1 royal suite

Occupancy Rate: 100%

  • Nasogastric insertion and feeding.
  • PEG tube care and feeding.
  • TPN and lipid administration.
  • CVAD flushing, site care and removal.
  • Urinary Catheter Insertion.
  • Post Chemotherapy administration care.
  • Administration of Blood and Blood products.
  • Home ventilator management: very limited.
  • Post-partum care.
  • Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Care.
  • Preparation and post management diagnostic, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear medicine.
  • Asepsis / Wound Management.
  • Falls prevention.
  • Pain Management.
  • Patient and family education.
  • Oro-nasopharyngeal swabbing on and off site.
  • Palace outreach.
