The Infection Prevention and Control Department: Western Region is a patient, healthcare workers, and staff service-oriented department promoting the National Guard mission of utmost patient safety by reducing the risk of acquiring and transmitting infections; and to become a leader in healthcare epidemiology and infection control. It aims to provide a Safe, Supportive, Healthy, and Effective Environment for the entire community of KAMC-WR. The Infection Prevention and Control Program has three (3) highly active sections that operate diversely; Hospital Infection Control, Public Health, Environmental Health and Occupational Health Safety.
