Endocrinology
The Division of Endocrinology at King Khalid National Guard Hospital is committed to providing the highest level of care for patients with disorders of the endocrine system. The goal of the section head of Endocrinology is to unify the division and integrate the following three-fold mission:
- To provide excellence in patient care
- To offer outstanding educational opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows
- To perform cutting-edge basic and clinical research on endocrine diseases, diabetes, thyroid cancer, and metabolic bone disease
The Endocrinology service holds multidisciplinary clinics including:

Thyroid Cancer Clinic – A tertiary referral clinic for the Western Region, offering weekly consultations with specialists from Endocrinology, Head & Neck Surgery, and Radiation Oncology

Gestational Diabetes Clinic – A combined clinic with Endocrinology, Obstetrics, and a diabetic educator to assess both maternal and fetal health

Adolescent Clinic – A monthly clinic where adult and pediatric endocrinologists collaborate to transition adolescent patients to adult care
