The Society of Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM) Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS): Surgical hosted course is an International course with Intrenational and Local certification . This course combines expert-developed presentations with interactive skill stations to provide nonsurgical healthcare professionals with the training they need to provide initial care to critically ill surgical patients. The course augments and expands on FCCS core concepts and provides a deeper understanding of the pathophysiology of the surgical patient.

By the end of the course the participants will be able to:

• Recognize the deterioration of critically Ill surgical patients.
  

• Demonstrate comprehensive assessment of critically ill surgical patients.
  

• Apply appropriate management of the surgical ICU emergencies.
  

• Provide Multidisciplinary  approach  and care of surgically ill patients.
