MNG-HA Launches "Patient portal " Mobile Application
The Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs (MNG-HA), launched launched a smart phone application "MNGHA Care" which will allow the patient to access his/her electronic medical record, provide electronic services, increase health awareness, promote positive health outcomes as well as offering reliable health information.
Through this application, the patient can view the details of the medical visit, such as the medical specialty, the physician and other related medical information. In addition, the patient can display the list of prescribed drugs, make medication refill request as well as the ability to view the laboratory and radiology results and tests. As for the patient appointments in the business centre, the patient can request, modify or cancel any appointment, in addition to many available services that will save both time and effort .
It is worth mentioning that this application is one of the new Hospital Information System “BESTCare” features, which was successfully launched earlier this year, in 2016.
MNGHACare is also available as an app for mobile devices (both Android and iOS Versions).
