Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital - AlMadinah managed to score a new achievement added to its list of diverse accomplishments on both medical and operational levels, where the Food Services Department has received the Swiss Cert Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008 Accreditation, a pioneer name in the system certification, training and Inspection business  through its representative based in Saudi Arabia for adhering to the international standards in this field and passing several phases of tests, assessments and auditing conducted by Amn Consulting Office.

Accepting such accreditation was through a ceremonial activity organized by the Food Services Department, in which Amn Consulting Office General Manager Mr. Yaser Basrawi presented the accreditation certificate which was received by the Deputy Executive Director of Operations, PMBAH Mr. Mansour Al Askar with the presence of the Food Services Department Director Mr. Musaad Almutiri and a number of  MNG-HA’s officials and employees of the Food Services Department. On this occasion,  Mr. Mansour Al Askar delivered a speech in which he praised the work undertaken and carried out by the department and the administration, which culminated in receiving this international accreditation, that confirms PMBAH’s excellence in all health care provided services weather medical operational.

Additionally, Food Services Department at PMBAH has made great efforts since its establishment and during the five accreditation phases starting from inspection, through training and documentation, then application and finally the phase of internal auditing. Such process usually takes up to six months, in which Food Services Department proved with all its Saudi qualified cadres in addition its refined operational techniques, that it is worthy of receiving such accreditation ISO in the management and control of the entire food services system in Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital – AlMadinah.
