The Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA) and the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) received a high-level delegation from Immunity Bio, one of the world's leading companies in advanced oncology research and treatments.
The delegation was led by the company's Executive Chairman, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, accompanied by a number of senior executives, on a visit aimed at reviewing the advanced research capabilities and advanced infrastructure of MNGHA and KAIMRC, and discussing prospects for cooperation and strategic partnerships, especially in the field of natural modified immune cell therapy (CAR-NK), at the level of clinical studies and therapeutic development.
This visit comes as an extension of the meetings that took place during the Saudi delegation's participation in the Milken Institute Forum last week in Los Angeles, and is of added importance to coincide with the Saudi-American Investment Forum tomorrow, which is expected to witness the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding between healthcare providers and research centers in the Kingdom and their counterparts in the United States of America.
