Family and Community Medicine aspires to be a department of excellence in practicing the principles of family medicine aiming to fulfill the health needs of the community.


Al Madinah N.G. Family & Community Medicine Centre

  • The center is serving a population of about 40000 of all age groups from neonates to elderly, males and females, civilians and militaries.


  • To establish and maintain a state of the art of Family & Community medicine in an integrated manner with other specialties at National Guard health services.

  • To provide effective prevention and health promotion programs that will have positive effect on people’s health while reducing cost of healthcare provision

  • To be center of excellence for training, education, and researchers.

  • To achieve healthcare excellence that is responsive to needs of beneficiaries and adaptable to changes

Man Power

  • 15 physicians as following:

    • 5 Consultants, Family Medicine

    • 1 Associate, Consultant F.M.

    • 1 Consultant, Public health

    • 1 Specialist, Pediatrics

    • 7 General Practitioners

  • 2 Dentists

  • 12 Nurses (Males and Females)

  • Other Paramedical staff in different sectors
