Division of Transplant Anesthesia

• The Division of Transplant Anesthesia provides high-quality perioperative anesthetic care for patients with liver transplants, kidney transplants, and other major hepatobiliary surgeries. We provide anesthetic care for both organ transplant recipients and donors and both anesthetic and perioperative care.
• Our division is active in the selection and preoperative evaluation of transplant recipients, particularly liver recipients.
• We Provide full 24/7 Anesthesia coverage with two teams. Each team has a consultant and assistants for liver and Kidney cadaveric donor transplants.
• Our division is also involved in an anesthesia residency teaching program. It provides academic training for our senior anesthesia residents from the National Guard residency program and external rotations.
