Orthopaedic Trauma Update Conference

​Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in collaboration with King Saud University for Health Sciences are pleased to announce the upcoming 2015 Orthopaedic Trauma Update Conference which will be held from the 3rd till the 5th of November 2015 in the KSAU-HS Convention Center.


Introduction and scope:
Complex orthopaedic trauma can result in significant disability to patients in various aspects including physical, psychological and social in addition to exhaustion to health care and community systems.

Under the theme of “Complications Prevention and Management”, we aim during “orthopaedic Trauma Update 2015”, at seeking up-to-date evidence in prevention and management of trauma complication.

Scientific sessions will explore common complex problem in orthopaedic trauma, like infection, nonunion, periprosthetic fracture and pelvis and acetabular fractures.  

In addition to cadavers workshop with hands-on is planned for selected approaches.

Objectives:

1. Updates in treatments of pelvis and acetabulum.
2. Updates in treatments of infections and nonunion.
3. Updates in treatments of complex periarticular and periosthetic fractures.
4. Fresh cadavers workshop for selected exposures.

• Physicians.
• Residents and Fellows.
• Nurses.
• All other Healthcare Professionals

CME Hours:
The conference will be accredited with CME Hours CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
