Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course Jeddah

​King Abdulaziz Medical City - Jeddah will conduct the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course. The 1st Saudi Arabia Basic level which will be held on 25,26,27 March, 2016 at Park Hayat Hotel, Jeddah.

The course objectives are:

• All tutors are international experts in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
• Ultrasound is a non- invasive tool of investigation for musculoskeletal diseases and it’s easy availability at bed side giving  the clinician opportunity to manage the patient in professional manner without waiting for x-ray or scheduling the patient in radiology department for ultrasound or MRI, which will take some time.
• Currently MSK ultrasound is replacing MRI in expert hands. 
• The course will be conducted for three days aiming at education of the delegates in form of extensive lectures about joints anatomy and pathological findings.
• Demonstration for scanning of each joint, ( shoulder, elbow, hand & wrist, hip, knee and ankle).
• Delegates will be divided in small groups (5-6) per tutor to perfume the steps of scanning of each joint according to Eular Criteria.
• Demonstration of pathological finding on real cases of basic joint diseases such as osteoarthritis , rheumatoid arthritis and crystal induced arthropathy.
• If the delegates certified for attendance and practice for the basic level, they can apply for the intermediate level after submission of certain number of images to EULAR.
