King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah (KAMC-J) and Life Support Training Centre - Postgraduate Education & Academic Affairs announce the 2019 schedule of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course (ACLS) which will be held at Deanship Building, KSAU-HS - Jeddah.

Synopsis:
  • ACLS courses are designed to enhance the health care professional’s ability to diagnose and treat cardiopulmonary arrest, Acute Arrhythmia Stroke, and Acute Coronary Syndrom, working as a team and managing the patient in the immediate post-resuscitation phase.
  • The course will provide the participant with the most up-to-date information and protocols for Acute Cardiac Care and Advanced Life Support in accordance with the standards guidelines of the American Heart Association (AHA).
Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Demonstrate the concepts and principles of airway management.
  • Recognize and appropriate manage non-lethal arrhythmias and lethal cardiac dysrhythmias.
  • Recognize & initiate early management of stroke & acute coronary syndrome.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, and using appropriate team dynamics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Providing BLS care.
