Thoracic Anesthesia Course and Workshop

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital, Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs in celebration with the Saudi Anesthesia Society will hold the  Thoracic Anesthesia Course and Workshop which will be held on Nov, 25th 2017 from 07:30 a.m. – 04:30 p.m in the Admin Building (Auditorium).

Objectives:
At the end of the workshop the candidate will learn the following:

• Interpretation of pulmonary function tests.
• Come in close proximity with different tools commonly in use for lung isolation in thoracic anesthesia.
• Update on lung isolation techniques.
• Post-thoracotomy pain relief.
• Hands-on simulation practice for Hypoxia during OLV.

Target Audience:
Anesthesiologists

CME Hours:
The course is accredited with 6 CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).

Duration of the course:  8 hours
