2nd Excellence in Laboratory Quality Management Conference

​The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs, in collaboration with the Postgraduate Education, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, would like to announce the upcoming 2nd Excellence in Laboratory Quality Management Conference on 9th – 12th December 2018.
The Excellence in Laboratory Quality Management Conference promises to be significant in the development of quality laboratory services in the Kingdom and will serve as a milestone in the accreditation of more laboratories to national and international standards.  The 3-day conference will be based around the QUALITY SYSTEM ESSENTIALS, ACCREDITATION, AND TRAINING workshops.

Objectives:

• To recognize the impact of transformation in healthcare on clinical laboratory practices
• To highlight the importance of international standards through accreditations
• To understand the role of changing in health economy on patient outcomes
• To understand the role of revenue cycle management on laboratory performance
