Reference Management Using Mendeley

​King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) in collaboration with the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs are pleased to announce “Reference Management Using Mendeley” which will be held on 25 April 2019 at College of Public Health & Health Informatics, KSAU-HS Riyadh KSA

Course Objectives:
This course is intended for researchers to use Mendeley as reference management platform to improve their skills in managing and referencing for academic writing. Mendeley is free academic cross platform software accessible in all major browsers in addition to user friendly features to manage and store research reference library. This course is to strive towards using free platforms to promote and support high quality healthcare research within KSAU-HS.

Learning Objectives:

• Introduction to Mendeley and different platforms and plug-ins of Mendeley
• How and where to organize, manage and setup your reference library
• How and where to search for references
• How to use mendeley for citation
• How to create bibliography using mendeley?
• How to use PDF viewer within mendeley to highlight and annotate your research documents
• How to create your research profile and research group, collaborate with other researchers and stay up-to-date with research?
