Pediatrics Triage – Provider (PT-P)

​The Postgraduate Training Center (PTC) in collaboration with the Pediatric Emergency & Emergency Triage - Emergency Department is pleased to announce the Pediatrics Triage – Provider Course (PT-P).

• 24 & 25 December  
  

Activity Objectives:

The activity designed to address updates and issues regarding the:

• Develop the ability of the systemic pediatric triage assessment in emergency department utilizing the critical thinking approach and rules of pediatric triage.
• Understanding of concept  related to pediatric including the following:
• Anatomic, physiologic and development difference between children and adult
• Recognition of conditions leading to pediatric arrest (hypoxia & shock ) and appropriate  interventions 
• Dealing with parents 
• To be familiar with pediatric triaging of special presentation according to CATS guidelines

Fees:

• Physicians: SR 600 
• Nurses &  Paramedics: SR 450

CME Hours:

This course will be accredited with CME Hours from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
