Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious disease transmitted through air, it often affects the lungs and may cause death if not treated.

Every year we celebrate the World TB day on the 24th of March. It’s more like awareness and educational day for the Community and Public in regards TB and how to be managed, as its part of the plan to eliminate and decrease the number of TB patients worldwide.

Educating the public about TB will help us in early detection and treatment.

TB is fatal but curable at low cost.
TB is not a stigma, everyone can get it.
As a Health Care Worker, you can protect yourself by wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment.
Prevent the spread of TB by knowing your symptoms.
