Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs in collaboration with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), the Saudi Orthopedic Association (SOA) and the Saudi Association of Neurological Surgery (SANS) are pleased to announce the upcoming “ Spine Update Conference and Workshops” which will be held from the 9th till the 11th of December 2014 in the KSAU-HS Convention Center.

Introduction and Scope:
Our Scientific Sessions explore various aspects of pathologies affecting the spine. The program will discuss degenerative spine disease, spine trauma and spinal cord injury, and spine tumors. Latest technologies including motion preservation and minimally invasive spine surgery will be addressed in full reviews and scientific debates throughout the conference. These sessions feature presentations by some of the most renowned spine surgeons in the world and in Saudi Arabia.

Objectives:

Discuss the standard of practice in common spine pathology.
Updates in traumatic spine cord injury.
Updates in degenerative lumbar disease.
Updates in approaching Spine tumors.
Updates in pediatric deformity.
Fresh cadavers workshop for complex spine procedures.
