The Postgraduate Education, King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) in collaboration with Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs (MNGHA) is pleased to conduct the (Infection Control Management of EBOLA Suspected / Confirmed cases Workshop) at The 1st floor, Postgraduate Training Center, Deanship of Postgraduate Education Building in King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

Dates: 14, & 18 December 2014.

Activity Objectives:

To understand the epidemiology of the disease thereby recognizing the importance of enforcing strict Infection control measures to protect our healthcare workers and prevent the spread of the disease.
To train healthcare workers on the proper and timely identification of suspected or confirmed Ebola cases.
To train healthcare workers on the proper donning and doffing of personal protective equipment’s )PPE( while caring for suspected or confirmed Ebola cases.
To train healthcare workers on the proper disposal of medical waste and infected linens from a suspected or confirmed Ebola case.
To train healthcare workers on the proper handling of specimens, dead bodies of suspected and confirmed Ebola case.

Target Audience:
ER, ICUs, RTs, ID Physician, Housekeeping, Morgue Staff and EMS Personnel

CME Hours:
This activity is accredited with 5 CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
