Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Programs

Oncology Division (Covers 3 Programs: Leukemia/Lymphoma, Solid Tumors And Neuro-Oncology)


  • Inpatients care (we diagnose about 75 new Oncology patients annually)

  • Consultations to other services in KASCH, main hospital and Cardiac Center.

  • Outpatient Clinics

  • Tumor boards (discussing with other disciplines the management of all new , relapsed and complicated patients)

  • Carry out all administrative and educational activities and meetings pertinent to the specialty.

Stem Cell Transplant Division (SCT)

  • Planning for the Transplant ahead of time and perform SCT (Allogeneic, Autologous and Cord Blood).
  • Inpatients care
  • Outpatient Clinics
  • Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant weekly clinical meeting (discussing with other disciplines the management of all new and old patients) and quality meeting
  • Carry out all administrative and educational activities and meetings pertinent to the specialty

Hematology Division

  • Inpatients care
  • Consultations to other services in KASCH, main hospital and Cardiac Center.
  • Outpatient Clinics
  • Carry out all administrative and educational activities and meetings pertinent to the specialty

Supportive Care Unit

  • Survivorship program: Follow up Cancer survivors who completed their therapy.
  • The Palliative care program is not fully functional due to lack of manpower.

Research And Data Management Unit

  • Not yet established due to No manpower
